TEACHING CLASSES

Welcome!

We are so excited for you to begin sharing your love for these life changing essential oils!

So first, you’ll want to make sure you’ve gone through the content in Days 1 - 10 of our Momentum Model.
There, you will learn the very best way to sample, invite + enroll at every class you teach!

Okay ready to dive in?

Before you do, we need you to know something …
You will never feel ‘ready enough’ to teach your 1st class so you’ll need to just get out there and do it!

1 hr of teaching is worth 20 hrs of reading about how to teach. And taking action always builds Confidence.

In this kit:

We recommend that you order 3-4 'class in a box' for each month of your Launch Season.

Make a list of up to 100 people and begin inviting to the classes you have scheduled for your launch season.

And then add them to this Contact Experience Tracker (spreadsheet version): Follow the instructions to make your own virtual copy.
This tracker will guide you in moving your customer from experience to experience. You will want to look at it every day and let it guide you in who to connect with!
💡 TIP: Download the Google Sheets app to your phone so you can update this tracker on the go!
If you’d prefer to use a printable contact tracker, here you go.

Working

with Hosts

Class Hosting Details:

So first, customers/wellness advocates you’ve already enrolled make the best class hosts! Look for customers who have placed LRP at 100+ or at least twice in a row but have not yet enrolled anyone and ask them if they are interested in getting their oils paid for. Let them know you would love to come teach an essential oils class for them and their friends/family. If they haven’t upgraded to wellness advocate yet, they can and then can earn the commissions if their LRP is at 100pv or higher. If they don’t want to be the enroller of the class, you can still make them the sponsor and split commissions with them.

When someone who hasn’t enrolled asks to host a class that you come teach, first find out if they have interest in the Biz Opportunity.
If they’re not interested, you as the teacher would be the enroller of people at that class.

Here is a great powerpoint to give you fresh ideas on how to setup a great host.
And click the checklist below for ways to prep your host:

Reward Your Class Host:
Offer them a keychain of oils based on how many guests they invite that show up!

Some overall class goals:

Your class must be simple + engaging!
Follow the Sequence shown in the image below. Review the scripts from days 6 - 9 of our Momentum Model
Respect their time - keep it under an hour
Ensure they learn which oils/products will support them in their top 3 health goals, teeing up the kits through the whole class
Connect them to their resources (ie essential life book) so they know they can do this!
Book another class off of the class - always!

3 Questions to ask at every class:

1. During the Opening: "What area of your health is on your heart?” (aka what brought you to this class tonight?)
Have them write it down if it's a class, if it's a 1:1 - have them share openly as you take notes. (1:1’s are awesome because you make it entirely about them!)

2. “What do you know about doTERRA already?” (the group responses will edify you)
A lack of response positions you to knock their socks off with doTERRA stats, co impact sourcing and CPTG.

3. At the close: "Are you interested in me showing you how to hire these oils to go to work for you at the best price?"  Point them to your fave kit and share why.

Remember - they want you to sell to them!
Otherwise it's like you're a waitress that comes and tells the table all the delicious food on the menu and never comes back to take the order!

Booking Classes from Classes:

You want to book at least 1 class from each class.
You learned about the keychain method on Day 10 of the Momentum Model

Another approach you can take is to give them an Essential Life Book (spiral bound) for booking a class.
Throughout the class, when you’re referencing the Essential Life Book, let them know you’ll give them an opportunity to go home with a free copy at the end of class

BEFORE CLOSE, PASSES OUT DRAW SLIPS:
"Okay let’s do a giveaway! As you’re filling in the draw slip, I wanted to mention, there is an opportunity to go home with this book today, so for anybody that is interested in hosting a class in (next 2 months), you'll actually get to go home with this book today."
Then PASS THE BOOK AROUND. Then COLLECT THE DRAW SLIPS.
Take a quick peek at who said yes or maybe & do the draw & give out the prize.

FOR THOSE THAT CHECKED OFF ‘HOST A CLASS’ “I’m so excited that you get to go home with this book today, let’s get your class booked for next month - does the 18th or 27th work better?” Then WAIT for them to reply. Don’t say anything until they do.

How to Enroll:

If it’s a small class - you could enroll people through your laptop.

For larger groups - have them complete all info on the sign up form and let them know you will enroll them first thing tomorrow.
Plan to send all the people you enroll at the class home with a welcome bag … scroll down to learn more about this.

Before you start enrolling people - make sure you have setup your personal Loyalty Rewards order of at least 100pv and keep it saved at that amount always! This is how you earn commissions from enrolling.

When teaching classes, don’t forget to touch on LRP at the end of your class, but only for about 2 minutes. Let the class know that you’re excited to offer everyone a 1:1 call once they are enrolled and will go over this rewards program in more detail, establish a wellness design plan (using this LIVE guide).

Videos to watch about online classes:

the checklist below to open it up as a PDF with clickable links:

Making a Class Sign up Form:

Here is an example of a Google Form you could create to invite people to your online classes.

You should be able to make a copy of this and edit it how you'd like and establish it to send responses to your inbox.
To do that, click on the 3 dots in the top right corner, and click 'make a copy'.

Then, you would email out the link to your online class a few days prior, and keep the emails in warm market segment of your email platform for followups after class.

constant contact and FloDesk are popular email platforms.

Using Zoom:

Zoom is free to use if you keep your classes less than 40 min.
So that’s great to start with and then you can upgrade to various packages from there based on your needs.

Here's a great library of 1 min videos to teach you how to use Zoom:

Facebook Classes:

You can stream from your desktop computer through Facebook if you are using Chrome as your browser.
We recommend you create a private Facebook Group to stream your classes into.
Then you can decide to store them there or delete them as you add new people into the group.
