Why DoTERRA?

When I write this- I am writing from my perspective of importance. When I look at how I spend my money. (i know that this is a HUGE power. How we spend our money- matters.)

For me- The most important thing is the quality of an item. Is this created with the best plants available, free of contaminants and un- adulterated? Were the best conditions created for this plant to thrive and are they creating this in a way that doesn’t harm the earth, its beings and the eco systems.

I then look to how it was produced-

Are the people fairly treated? Are fair wages earned? Was this sourced in integrity?

I also look at the company as a whole- How do they look financially? Are they making choices based on greed? Are they working with sustainable methods? Are they creating a better world? or just profiting off of it?

SOURCE TO YOU

What if what the stores are selling, are simply bottles that were created to smell like peppermint or lavender without any of the plant power in it? Just synthetic chemicals designed to cheaply replace what we really desire?
How would you actually know? And could your results be different if you were actually using pure plant?

doTERRA is not only the largest + most trusted brand in the world
they are also the most transparent regarding the amount of quality testing on each oil (54 different tests) and the lengths they go to to source all over the world where the plants thrive in their natural conditions. This is what puts doTERRA in a completely different category than what you’ll find on store shelves.

You can hop over to their quality + sourcing portal called Source to You and scan your bottle to see the most recent quality testing report and read about the sourcing of the oil.

(There is nobody regulating this so you have to do your research.)

Co-Impact Sourcing.

doTERRA’s oil collection is sourced from over 40 countries, half of which are developing nations.

This offers an opportunity to provide resources that may or may not have otherwise been available to these communities.

doTERRA, on the other hand, has a relationship with their partners on the ground because here’s the thing:

These communities have some of the best raw material for oils on the planet

and

we have the largest market in the world for them.

With nearly seven million customers, doTERRA has the largest essential oil database in history, and I know I can speak on behalf of thousands, millions, of people when I say that each and every time I purchase my oils, I love knowing I’m voting with my dollar. Voting for a co-impact sourcing model that supports real families, communities and villages on the ground who are providing us with the blessings of a plant that they have grown up around and tended to all their lives.

These farmers, growers and distillers get paid fairly, on time and often receive a profit share of their batches. They’re able to provide for their families, send their children to school, and go to sleep with peace in their heart knowing with certainty that they will have work tomorrow.

Community Development

In doTERRA’s Co-Impact Sourcing areas, we’re supporting development projects improving overall community health and well-being.

We focus on infrastructure improvements, access to clean water, medical care and supporting community programs the improve the lives of individuals and their families.

Please know that when you’re buying Deep Blue, it’s not just your sore muscles that are benefiting. The Wintergreen in Ice Blue is hand picked by women in Nepal, and you have literally contributed to their wellbeing as a community. To harvest It, mostly women must travel through steep, muddy mountainsides, collecting leaves from the shrub. After the raw material is hand-collected, harvesters bring the leaves in large baskets carried on their backs to the distillation unit where they get paid by weight.⠀

DōTERRA’s co-impact sourcing strategies mean that people in the industry get a fair wage, have a safe work environment and are paid on time.
